GEOFFREY WELCHMAN (bass, vox) Geoffrey grew up in New England, where he started playing bass and guitar in his teens. Moving to NYC, he performed at such venues as CBGB, the Village Gate, and The Bitter End. He has written album reviews for People and Rolling Stone, composed music for television, and released two solo albums (Comfort Noise, One Band Man).

Geoffrey has loved the Beatles since he was four, and saw the original Broadway production of “Beatlemania.” Taxman is his favorite Beatles song. He also sits in on bass with Roses'n'Rust.

ERIC DINENNA (drums) is a Maryland native who started playing drums at the age of 5, and played his first gig at 15.

Resettling in Nashville, he became a full-time session musician, playing with the likes of David Frizzell, T. Graham Brown, the Winters Brothers Band, Ed King (Lynyrd Skynyrd), and John Entwistle (the Who), among others. Eric has also written music for CNN, Fox Sports, and E TV.

Moving back to Baltimore in 2020, he started playing the local circuit, where he joined up with Hey Bulldog in late 2023. His favorite Beatles song is Something. A busy musician, he also sits in with Jill Black & the Panic Attack and Island Breeze.

JOHN VAETH (lead guitar, vox) John got his first guitar on his 12th birthday, and was soon playing folk masses at his church.  In high school he played in coffee houses, even landing a spot on a local TV program, “Showcase 13”.

With a newfound a love for electric blues, he joined the Rain Dogs, playing in and around Baltimore for the next 15 years. After stints in bluegrass, country, and swing groups, he found himself in the band Island Breeze, playing all styles of music, even incorporating a Hawaiian flair when the gig calls for it.

DAN EATON (keys, melodica, guitars, vox)  Coming from a musical family, he began guitar at 9, and later added trombone, piano, bass and melodica. In high school he began arranging and orchestrating for the school chorus. He would go on to play in  jazz, blues, Celtic and folk combos.

A formative moment  was when his older brother gave him an album by a British band called The Beatles. From then on he was hooked, maintaining a lifelong love of their music.
